Q: What Is The Legal Café?
A: As its name suggests, The Legal Café is a multipurpose entity, serving the needs of lawyers, business professionals, and the general public while offering high-quality coffee and a selection of light food options. The Legal Café helps connect lawyers and business professionals with prospective clients and offers a wide range of support services on an as-needed basis, including workspace with high-speed internet, conference rooms, videoconference equipment, and support services, including reception, secretarial, and paralegal staff.
Q: How can lawyers and business professionals access the services available from The Legal Café?
A: There are two ways to take advantage of the coworking spaces, lead generation, and support services available through The Legal Café. You can purchase one of our monthly coworking plans, which gives you priority access to conference rooms, workspaces, and certain support services. Members also have access to leads, and additional business services can be purchased à la carte, many with a member discount. Non-members can also access leads and can rent conference rooms and other workspaces on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-members pay full retail rate for à la carte services.
Q: How do member attorneys access leads?
A: At The Legal Café, we provide every member with an app that shows a summary of each available lead. Member attorneys can buy exclusive access to leads directly from the app. Once you purchase a lead, the app discloses all information necessary to contact the prospective client. You also can use the app to track your conversion ratio.
Q: What support services are available from The Legal Café?
A: We provide a wide range of support services, including private work areas, with access to high-speed internet, for in-person meetings and videoconferences. When you arrange for a client to meet you at the Café, our receptionist will greet them and get them where they need to go. We also offer a wide range of secretarial services, including word processing, copying, printing, scanning, mailing, and hand deliveries. Please click here to see our plans and pricing.
Q: Are there investment or franchise opportunities with The Legal Café?

Mail Handling FAQ
Q: How will my mail be handled?
A: The Legal Café provides members with personal mail handling service, similar to having a personal box. Your mail will be stored securely and immediately retrieved upon your request during regular business hours. Your mailing address will be 114 Main Street, plus your personal box number.
Q: Can anybody receive mail at The Legal Café?
A: Yes, all members can receive mail at The Legal Café . When the member is a firm or corporation, it must notify the Café of the names of each person to receive mail at The Legal Café. Corporate members also must include their incorporation information.
Q: Can I receive restricted delivery mail?
A: You may receive any mail at The Legal Café unless delivery is specifically restricted to you as the addressee. All other restricted delivery items, including collect on delivery (COD), signature certified, and insured mail, can be sent to your mailbox.
Q: Can I receive packages?
A: Yes, you can receive packages at The Legal Café, and we can forward them to you at an additional cost. The Legal Café will store packages up to three days. If the packages take up an excessive amount of space, as determined by the Café staff, additional charges may be incurred.
Q: How do I pick up my mail?
A: You can ask the receptionist for assistance retrieving your mail during normal business hours.
Q: Can someone else pick up my mail for me?
A: Members may authorize another person to pick up their mail by emailing authorization instructions to the Café Reception and including the name of the authorized person. This person must present a photo ID when requesting the member’s mail. The Legal Café reserves the right to verify any non-members picking up mail on behalf of a member.
Q: Can The Legal Café refuse certain types of mail?
A: No, The Legal Café cannot refuse any mail sent to members.
Q: What if my information changes?
A: If any of your contact information changes, it is your responsibility to inform the Café staff so that we may update our records.
Q: What if I end my membership at The Legal Café?
A: The Legal Café generally will not forward or remail your mail after termination of membership. You should submit a change of address form to the USPS to ensure that your mail is forwarded after termination.
COVID-19 Precautions
The Legal Café staff has implemented procedures and taken measures to provide a safe and sanitary workspace for our members and the public.
- The Legal Café uses a REME HALO® air purifier designed to eliminate sick building syndrome risks by reducing odors and air pollutants. This system has the following advantages:
- Reduces airborne particulates (dust, dander, pollen, mold spores);
- Kills up to 99% of bacteria, mold, and viruses, and is proven to eliminate viruses similar to COVID-19;
- Reduces sneeze germs by 99% during the time in which they are able to travel three feet; and
- Kills 99% of viruses on surfaces.
- Ample seating that typically allows for social distancing.
- Hand sanitizer is available throughout the café.
- The Café follows CDC mask requirement guidelines.
- Each workspace is disinfected by staff periodically including both hard and soft surfaces, phones, counters, chairs, door knobs, and remotes. The Legal Café is regularly deep cleaned after hours.
